📍 Location: Maadi | Heliopolis | New Cairo | Nasr City

Job Purpose:

A leading sweets and food manufacturing company in Egypt, producing more than 60 types and brands of high-quality sweets, including traditional Egyptian sweets, chocolate bonbons, nougat, and other confectionery products, is looking to hire an experienced Accounting Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Manage and monitor costing, production accounting, inventory accounting, and cost analysis within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Review inventory movements, stock balances, and production-related accounting transactions.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal control procedures.
• Participate in the implementation and daily operation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring accounting policies and procedures, including:
  • Fixed Assets Policies
  • Costing & Production Policies
  • Sales & Collection Policies
  • Inventory Policies
  • Purchasing Policies
  • Delegation of Authorities Policies
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure proper corrective actions.
• Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
• Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in FMCG manufacturing, food, sweets, or confectionery production.
  • Strong experience in costing, inventory, production accounting, AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
  • Good knowledge of Egyptian accounting and tax requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, and delegation of authority frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Residence in El-Shorouk City or 10th of Ramadan City is preferred.
