Senior Accountant – FMCG Industry

🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting to join the Advisory Team. The role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue, revenue recognition, fixed assets, and inventory (if applicable).

The candidate will support financial reporting, ensure accuracy of accounting records, work on ERP systems (Oracle, ODOO, SAP, SaaS models), and maintain compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, have industry exposure in audit, consultancy, retail, e-commerce, medical, educational, or software sectors, and demonstrate self-confidence, professional appearance, and good presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries and monthly adjustments.
• Record and manage accruals and provisions.
• Handle prepaid expenses and deferred revenue.
• Apply revenue recognition basics in line with accounting standards.
• Manage fixed assets and calculate depreciation.
• Handle inventory accounting (if applicable).
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Work on ERP systems such as Oracle, ODOO, SAP, and SaaS accounting models.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and support audit requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience in one of the following industries: Audit firms, Financial Consultancy, Retail, E-commerce, Medical, Educational, or Software House.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, accruals, deferred revenue, depreciation, and inventory accounting.
• Experience working with Oracle, ODOO, SAP, or SaaS accounting systems.
• English: Medium level.
• Based in Giza
• Self-confident with professional appearance and good presentation skills.
