Job Purpose :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Egyptian tax regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Record and process daily accounting transactions accurately and on time.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the General Ledger (GL).
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Maintain and monitor Fixed Assets records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations, including VAT and Withholding Tax.
  • Prepare and analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records within the ERP system.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Technical Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Journal Entries, General Ledger (GL), AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations.
  • Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing.
  • Basic knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations, including VAT and Withholding Tax.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial reporting.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Odoo, or other SaaS accounting solutions.

Qualifications : 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience working in Startup or SME environments.
  • Exposure to ERP implementation or process improvement initiatives.
  • Basic leadership or team coordination experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: ( Audit Firms, Financial Consultancy, Retail, E-commerce, Medical, Educational, Construction)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-confidence and professional attitude.
  • Excellent personal appearance and professionalism.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive and proactive mindset.
  • English: Intermediate level.
